The Cardiologist interviews were shot on a soundstage with a Red One. There wasn’t a script here, but knowing what the agency was hoping to capture, I steered the interviews a bit, then pulled it all together in the edit. I really wanted to have the talent looking straight into camera but relaxed (it’s tough with non-actors), so I brought along the ‘EyeDirect’ mirror system to achieve that.  ~Jeffrey Bates
